City traffic aides take refresher course
Some 268 traffic enforcers of the Iloilo City Government attended a refresher course for them to get familiarized with their functions during the discussion at City Hall Penthouse Sept. 10.
The Transportation Management and Traffic Regulation Office (TMTRO) conducted the Re-orientation Seminar to remind and reiterate the responsibilities of traffic aides in manning the streets in the metropolis for smooth flow of movement and circulation as well as address concerns on congestion.
TMTRO officer in charge Robert Foerster said the seminar aimed to enhance the capability of traffic aides in enforcing traffic rules and regulations, update them of all existing and new ordinances pertaining to traffic management and for them to observe courtesy in their manner of apprehension.
